Growing up, I experienced a lot of loss and trauma and was never given any support on how to deal with it. My Struggles went undiagnosed and unsupported by professionals for years. (I am now a strong advocate for self diagnosis and giving yourself those accommodations with or without the disability listed on paper - if something helps you, it helps you. No doctor can decide for you whether that's true or not.)

Ultimately, I had no choice but to seek out help from elsewhere -and by doing so, I realized there were minimal resources that are affordable and customisable to individuals circumstances. I found what was said to help others wasn't helping me (probably due to following neurotypical advice as a a neurodivergent person) but at the time I couldn't understand why.

Since committing my all to recovery from a variety of mental health conditions in 2020, I wanted to make sure no one else felt the way I did for so long (and also desperately needed a healthy distraction) so, IInside My Head was created.

I may not be a professional, but I do have a lot of lived experience, and with that, I will do all I can to help others (even if its just some cute frogs and dinosaur illustrations and queer little pins making them smile)
